BCMA panel at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2016. The panel was created by BCMA to tell the extraordinary story of how the BMW Film series was created. We hear from Jim McDowell ("Mr BMW"), who confessed that the BMW Sales team was not best pleased that he had spent all of their TV money on 'Films'. They had kept the project a secret until one month before launch. Once the decision was made to go ahead, they did everything possible to make it a success and knew the fate of the Company and that of the Agency (Fallon) were inextricably linked. A plausible idea quickly became an extremely successful idea.
