BCMA Affiliate partner in Italy, the Osservatorio Branded Entertainment (OBE) hosted a summit on Influencer Marketing in Milan.
This was the first event organised by OBE on Influencer marketing and took place on March 4, 2019, at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Overall there were speakers ranging from industry managers, creators and talent. They shared their views with those gathered helping them to understand how brands can make the most of this rapidly developing sector of the branded content industry.
The BCMA’s Global Head of Influencer Marketing, Gordon Glenister opened the conference on the key trends in Influencer Marketing with a keynote address to 150 delegates. He showed and explained how the industry was developing and the direction of travel and how it is affecting the global marketplace. He showcased a number of great case studies from BCMA members, including Whalar who are helping the BCMA to professionalise the Influencer Marketing industry.
The OBE’s Director General, Anna Gavazzi commented:
“We were very pleased with the reception of so many from the world of entertainment and support by top Italian brands including Coca Cola, Action Aid and agencies like Omnicom, Mediacom, Publicis Media as well as a number of leading influencers and Youtubers.”
