We are delighted to announce that the BCMA will be the lead partner in the Branded Content Research Centre to be launched by the University of East London.
This initiative is co-ordinated by Professor Jonathan Hardy and builds on a research project that brought together academic researchers across the UK, Europe and worldwide. The BCMA has been involved in this work from the start.
So, the Branded Content Research Centre launching next year will bring together academia and industry to serve both. One role will be as a clearing house for research needs, to help provide answers for industry and help put BCMA members in touch with relevant research teams worldwide. Some of the planned activities include
- State of the Profession research into industry organisation, employment and practices
- Mapping education and training needs and developing CPD provision
- Creating research and forums to discuss regulation and governance
