Anthea Biggs has gone from SAHM to Home Stylist and Influencer but she continues to maintain her glorious home as WFH parent and in doing so has generated a portfolio of clients creating something magical using her creativity and unique style. We’ve asked Anthea, how the current lock down has impacted on her:
Life under lock down, well there’s a subject! So far it has actually been really nice to slow down. So far I have gained 2 1/2 hours of my day back without the school run; no excuses to not fit in some exercise and keep on top of my freelance work! We are very lucky to have a garden and while the weather has been good it is wonderful for the children to use.
Home-schooling three different ages has been a steep learning curve but for me it has been about keeping perspective. I’m not a teacher so if I can keep them enjoying learning then I feel I have done a good job. My husband is running his foreign exchange company PRIVALGO from home; the business is cloud based so the transition to WFH has been relatively pain free….I just have to keep the children out of the way so he can work!
From a work perspective I initially saw a slow down and so spent that time reaching out to brands and PR’s. In the last week it does seem to be picking up again so I’m confident that now that the initial panic has subsided brands will be investing in influencer marketing to keep their message out there.
