The BCMA’s Canada chapter was founded 3 years ago with the aim of expanding the Canadian branded content community, as well as bringing it together. Membership includes producers, brands, agencies & individuals involved in the industry, and interested in furthering it.


BCMA Canada’s Candid Chapters interview series speaks to experts on a variety of topics related to the content, marketing & advertising through a fun, engaging chat. The chapter has also established Content, Education, & Events committees & invites members to volunteer for the same, & lead the discussions in our market.

  • As a global Creative Strategist, Omnichannel Marketer, & Branded content expert, she has worked on both the creative as well as the business side, leading all aspects of strategy, content creation, pitching, execution, marketing & optimization.

  • Not only has Haem worked on custom series for major brands such as Unilever, Mercedes Benz but she has also led & built marketing teams across markets. A speaker & panellist, she co-hosts the BCMA Canada Candid chats, & actively advocates for diversity & inclusion.

  • Haem is part of a Toronto-based improvisational comedy troupe ‘Eyesore’.

  • Petra works at the intersection of aesthetics & programming to create robust, lasting & innovative design.

  • She has been working at a media company helping with campaign production & marketing materials & also supports a financial company by designing some of their portfolio companies' brands.

  • Petra joined the BCMA Canada as an advisor on the content committee in 2020 & leads the design for marketing materials.

  • She spends most of her leisure time painting & checking out the latest new spots with friends.

  • Lesley is one of the founding members & an ongoing supporter & advisor of the BCMA Canada.
  • She is currently working with Shaftesbury in their Branded Entertainment & Business Affairs departments.
  • A natural-born multi-tasker & skilled project manager, she loves organization & figuring out work-flow.
