Influencers that are passionate about their work will shine

The BCMA, hosted a great panel debate on how influencers can best work with brands. Among them
was Dean and Sarah Gratton, top technology influencers, Rob Eades, food and fitness influencer otherwise known as the @leadstudentchef and Fab Giovanetti author, entrepreneur and owner of the health bloggers community.
The panel was chaired by the BCMA’s Global Head of Influencer Marketing, Gordon Glenister. Increasing followers doesn’t happen overnight, it takes hard work, being focused and being true to yourself will deliver results. Brands are now looking at the engagement metric more and more. Sarah says successful influencers are those that are passionate about what they believe in and that comes across through their content. We live in a world where storytelling is more important than ever. Dean says we have been labelled the ‘technology power couple’ because of our online chemistry and its part of our social appeal.  Successful influencers have mastered the art of psychologically rewarding  their followers for their social participation by likes, comments or shares.
Rob added that the brands that are inflexible to co-creating content, are the ones he sometimes has to turn down. So being true to your audience is very important.
Fab says always remain professional, do what you say you’re going to do and treat yourself as a business in all your communications.
Top entertainment followed through BCMA member and platform the Music Gateway with their talent  Molly Warburton and Luke Burr. The event was held at the Devonshire Club and also sponsored by debt recovery specialist, Direct Route. Guests received free pink gin kindly sponsored by The Gin Kitchen.
