Cristina Barbosa, Brand Director of Vodafone, takes over the Presidency from Paco Recuero, Global Innovation Director at Pernod Ricard
Cristina Barbosa is Head Of Brand & Marcomms of Vodafone Spain. She is a Commercial Law graduate from the CEU San Pablo University and has over 20-years of professional experience. Cristina joined the network operator in October 2013 as Head of Marketing for Personal Costumers. Previuosly, she was leading the Marketing Services and Strategies of Citibank Spain as Director. Between 2001 and 2006 she worked at Aldeasa for its Communication Department as the Loyalty Membership and Customer Service Manager. Her professional debut was at the Gillette Co.’s Marketing Department, where she took on brands like Oral B, Paper Mate and Waterman.
There were three further new appointments to the Board of Directors, including Eduardo Basarte, Director of Secuoya Nexus who becomes Vice President Communications & Events, Roger Casas-Alatriste, CEO El Cañonazo Transmedia, taking the role of Vice President International Relations and Santiago Aragonés, CEO at El Terrat who will be the Vice President of Legal.
Currently, BCMA Spain has more than 60 members from creative and media agencies, advertiser brands, media and producers of content.
